Summary: Baltazzar is a Spanish-Jewish accordion player who was born in Rome but who has traveled widely. He belongs to the global community of street musicians who populate streets and squares of European metropolises, looking for adventure and for people’s company.
The film follows his routes and stops, his contact with permanent or temporary friends and his relationship with music and women, both of which fascinate him. His language is spontaneous, sentimental and harmonious and Baltazzar himself is cosmopolitan but at the same time a very familiar and recognizable figure of downtown Thessaloniki.
